To those who live near the Twin Cities in Minnesota, first I’m sorry you have to deal with our weather. Brrr! But lucky you, you get to have lessons with me!
For local students, I offer occasional privates during the daytime and occasional evenings held at TCOTC in Minneapolis, MN or on my property in Ham Lake, MN. I charge $70/hr.
Of course, you also have the option of doing online privates as well! (Head over to the Online page for more info about that program!)
I teach weekly classes for nonprofit Twin Cities Obedience Training Club. Prospective students must take a placement class to see what level they are best fitted for at TCOTC, or can contact me to discuss their dog’s training experience.
Competition Obedience: I offer a non-structured class where students can work on exercises of their choosing from foundations through utility obedience. We have 2-3 full rings so students can spread out! Think open ring time with the benefit of having a coach help you out when needed and other students to use as judges, stewards, and distractions! Students can still be at the foundation level to join us!
- It is currently held on Wednesdays nights at 8:15pm. This is a drop in class so you can come when your schedule cooperates!
Ring Confidence 1 & 2: For fixing ring stress and focus issues and to create a solid ring preparation routine to prepare a young dog for trialing. This class is offered on a more limited basis.
- Ring Confidence 1 will begin January 31st, Wednesdays at 7pm for 6 weeks
Bye-Bye Cookie: A class looking at getting happy and confident performances when your rewards are located off your body and at a distance. This is an intermediate level class designed for both pet dogs and competition oriented dogs.
- Next session will likely be held the end of April on Wednesday nights.
